The Rotary Clubs of Mansfield would like to invite you to be part of the Meredith Hatch Memorial Invitational Tournament. As proud supporters of our community and our students, we are pleased to provide this opportunity to showcase the very best girls high school basketball talent in the State of Texas. We aim to offer a highly competitive tournament to provide a memorable experience for the players and fans alike. All competition takes place in the beautiful state-of-the-art facilities provided by the Mansfield ISD.

Meredith Hatch was a Rotary member for many years before she tragically lost her life in June 2008 training for a triathlon. Meredith was very involved in the various projects our clubs undertook to benefit the Mansfield community. She served as club Secretary for many years and also served as President during 2006-2007. She always volunteered her time to the tournament and gave untold hours over the past five years to help make it a success. The Rotary Clubs of Mansfield chose to name the tournament in her honor to carry on her memory and remind us all of her unsurpassed dedication to serve.

The Mansfield ISD Education Foundation has established an annual grant to be presented in Meredith’s name. Every year a portion of the proceeds from the tournament will be donated to the Foundation to help fund the Meredith Hatch grant. All remaining proceeds will be utilized by the two Mansfield Rotary clubs to provide various ongoing services to the Mansfield community. Thank you very much for your support of the tournament.
